By a unanimous vote new officers were elected to head the Republican Club. Rick Bowers was elected President; Joann Wilkerson, Vice President; Joanna Colfelt, Secretary; and Mike Hummel, Treasurer. Each officer will serve a two year term.

Outgoing President Andi Morony did not seek another term after serving the club for 6 years. Morony posted on her Facebook site “I had loads of fun but I am simply overextended.” Bowers offered his thanks and best wishes to the outgoing team and cast a strong vision for the club’s future by saying; “The Queen Anne’s Republican Club has the potential to be the strongest on the Eastern Shore, and in time, able to make a difference anywhere in the state if needed.”The club holds public meetings monthly at various venues throughout the county.
