At the Queen Anne’s County Arts Council’s annual board retreat on August 6, the emphasis was on their upcoming 35th anniversary. Plans are in the works for a new logo, energizing their membership, special events, thanking long-time supporters and other events and activities. Their anniversary year begins in 2012 and there are plans to celebrate year round. Volunteer recruiting is already underway for people who have an interest in the arts, or just want to know more about the nonprofit community.
