Laura has lived on the Eastern Shore her entire life. She grew up on Parsons Island, which is in the Eastern Bay where she would have to take a boat daily to get back and forth to school. This afforded her the opportunity to grow up learning how to fish, crab, and hunt. She is currently married to her husband, Donnie , together they have two adult children. She feels fortunate to have grown up in a family of water men and law enforcement.

For the past ten years Laura worked as a 911 dispatcher for Queen Anne’s county and obtained her EMT certification. She began her career as a realtor to help people find the home of their dreams and to make buying or selling as smooth and stress free as possible using her lifetime knowledge of the Eastern Shore.
