The Centreville Rotary Club is pleased to announce a new attraction to its annual Artisan’s Festival.

The Touch-A-Truck experience gives old and young alike the thrill of sitting in the drivers’ seat of a dump truck, ambulance and other types of trucks. For a nominal fee, families gain entrance to the Touch-A-Truck venue where all can see, touch, and learn about construction and other vehicles. Continuing its tradition, children will also continue to decorate pumpkins, build scarecrows, and enjoy the train and hayrides.

Held on Saturday, October 5th from 10 am to 4 pm and Sunday, October 6th from 11 am to 4:00 pm at the Queen Anne’s County 4H Park in Queenstown, the festival attracts an array of talented artisans from across the Delmarva region. Each artist brings their original artwork for sale in paint, pottery, fabric, metal, jewelry, photography and other media.

Love musical entertainment will be provided by D’Vibe and Conga on Saturday and The Jones Boys on Sunday. Wine tasting and a special raffle of a signed autographed football by Torrey Smith will also take place.

This festival is an opportunity for families to shop, learn and have loads of fun while supporting a very worthwhile organization. Rotary provides funds to many worthwhile charities throughout Queen Anne’s County including local youth scholarships, operation of the regional transitional housing for victims of domestic violence, and support for Lifetime Wells for Ghana.
