The Rotary Club of Easton recently partnered with CBIZ/MHM, LLC to collect 30,829 pounds of food, or its monetary equivalent, to assist in stocking the Neighborhood Service Center’s food pantry. Easton Rotarians collected food and monetary donations totaling 6,056 pounds and the CBIZ/MHM team collected food and monetary donations totaling 24,773 pounds for the pantry.
The Neighborhood Service Center’s food pantry provides food throughout the year to Talbot County residents in need and is in need of donations from the community year round, not just during the holiday season. Items needed for the pantry include non-perishable food items such as canned goods and cereals in addition to cold foods.
