The Rotary Club of Easton recently named Kenneth W. Barton as an Honorary Rotarian in recognition of the many years of service he dedicated to the Club when an active member. A member of the Club since 1972, Mr. Barton is a retired YMCA executive. He is a Multiple Paul Harris Fellow, having made multiple monetary contributions to the Paul Harris Society, which is named after the founder of Rotary International. The Society recognizes friends of The Rotary Foundation who annually contribute $1000 or more to the Annual Programs Fund, PolioPlus and other Rotary Foundation grant activities.
Mr. Barton joins the ranks of the Rotary Club of Easton’s other Honorary Rotarians, Carville D. “Don Duncan; Christopher Brownawell; Richard Prettyman; and Barbara Osburn. Honorary membership is given by election of a Rotary Club to people who have distinguished themselves by their level of service and commitment to the community in demonstration of the Rotary motto, “Service Above Self.”
