When it comes to the lives of local Civil War soldiers, few know more about the subject than co-curator of the St. Michaels Museum, Mrs. Betty Seymour. Over the past year, Mrs. Seymour has researched the local graves of Civil War veterans in all three of St. Michaels’ cemeteries. In doing so, she’s collected numerous stories about the 56 Union soldiers and one possible Confederate soldier buried in the town. Now, Mrs. Seymour will present a discussion about her findings in honor of the 150th anniversary of the American Civil War at the St. Michaels branch of the Talbot County Free Library.
