Science to Amaze & Intrigue at the St. Michaels Library

On Wednesday, August 4, at 2:00 p.m., the Maryland Science Center will present “Science to Amaze & Intrigue” in the St. Michaels branch of the Talbot County Free Library.  Designed to entertain and entrance children in grades K – 5, “Science to Amaze & Intrigue” offers exciting demonstrations on sound, the human senses, chemical reactions, cold, heat, and combustion.  Children will witness a potpourri of chemistry, biology, and physics events.  They’ll find out if they can see with their hands and learn what happens to nitrogen at 320 degrees below zero.  Free tickets are required to attend this program.  The tickets can be picked up in the St. Michaels library beginning July 28.   For more information, call the library at 410-745-5877, or visit www.tcfl.org.
