Shore Health Honors Employees of the Year

Shore Health System honored its 2011 Employees of the Year at its annual service awards banquet. The 2011 Employees of the Year were selected from the pool of the 2011 Employees of the Month. Each of the honorees represents the qualities and contributions that exemplify Shore Health’s mission of Exceptional Care, Every Day and the CARE commitments: Community, Attitude, Respect and Excellence. The 2011 Shore Health Employees of the Year are: John Durcho, MSN, RN, staff nurse at Queen Anne’s Emergency Center in Queenstown; Deborah Merceron, BSN, RN, staff nurse in the emergency department at Memorial Hospital at Easton; Mary Ann Schultz, Desktop Analyst for Shore Health; Daniel Spielman, Plant Communication Specialist at Memorial Hospital; and Phil Stein, Quality Data Informaticist for Shore Health.

“Each of these employees exemplifies our mission of providing exceptional care, everyday,” said Ken Kozel, President and CEO, Shore Health. “Their example is one we can all follow in our efforts for continuous improvement in the important work we do to provide the best care possible for our patients.”
