Patrick O’Brien, M.D. of Chesapeake Women’s Health, LLC, was recently recognized as an Everyday Hero by the Memorial Hospital Foundation. Dr. O’Brien was nominated for his swift arrival to the hospital when called for an emergency procedure. Despite the urgency of the situation, he was a calming influence for the patient and staff. Thanks to his expertise, a serious and potentially life threatening situation was reversed and the patient had a successful recuperation.

The Everyday Hero Program provides patients and their family members an opportunity to thank a Shore Health System physician, employee or volunteer by making a financial donation to the Memorial Hospital Foundation in their name. The Memorial Hospital Foundation uses these donations to support Shore Health System in continuing its mission of delivering exceptional care, every day.
