Shore Health System Golf Invitational Raises $55K for Cancer Center

The Shore Health System Golf Invitational held on Monday, September 19 raised $55,000 for the Shore Regional Cancer Center.

The 29 foursomes who accepted the invitation enjoyed a day on the Talbot Country Club course. A full lunch was served during play and the tournament ended with an awards reception.

The first place gross team was Butch Townsend, Scott Beatty, Will Shannahan and Moorhead Vermilye playing for Talbot Bank. Placing first net were Faye Fraley, Brandon Bigelow, Donnie Miller and Danny Spielman playing for ROI Eligibility Services.

Closest to the pin honors went to Scott Davidson, Ted Book, Dixie Hughlett and Terry Linville.

The presenting sponsor for the event was Pepsi Bottling Ventures. Clark Charitable Foundation was the Masters Sponsor.
