Shore Health System Volunteers Exhibit Art at Shore Regional Breast Center

The art gallery at Shore Regional Breast Center will feature the work of Shore Health System volunteers when the new exhibit opens on Friday, April 1. A selection of paintings and photography will be on display from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at the Memorial Hospital at Easton, 219 S. Washington Street in Easton. The exhibit is open at other times by appointment.

“Our relationship with artists in the community began in 2006 when a group of breast cancer survivors created a mosaic mural as part of their recovery process,” explains Mary Jane Flynn, RN, nurse coordinator for Shore Regional Breast Center. “Since we opened the art gallery last year, the Breast Center has become a regular stop on the Easton First Friday art walk. We have been impressed by the variety of pieces submitted by our resident artists and are excited to feature the work of our volunteers from the Memorial Hospital and Dorchester General Hospital auxiliaries.”
