Shore Health System’s Diagnostic and Imaging Center Earns MRI Accreditation

Shore Health System’s Diagnostic and Imaging Center in Easton has been awarded a three-year term of accreditation for its magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) services by the American College of Radiology (ACR). An MRI is a painless test utilizing magnetic fields to produce images of the soft tissue areas of the body to help physicians diagnose and treat a variety of medical conditions.

Shore Health System’s MRI services were evaluated and met state of the art standards for image quality, personnel qualifications, adequacy of facility equipment, quality control procedures, and quality assurance programs.
