Shore Regional Health Welcomes New Endocrinologist

Macuha 1 (266 x 400)University of Maryland Shore Regional Health recently welcomed Faustino Macuha, Jr., MD to University of Maryland Center for Diabetes and Endocrinology located at Shore Medical Center at Easton. He will be joining Dr. Kenneth Patrick Ligaray who also practices at the Center.

Dr. Macuha earned a Bachelor of Science in Medical Technology from the University of Santo Tomas, Faculty of Pharmacy, in Manila, Philippines where he also earned a degree as Doctor of Medicine and Surgery. Dr. Macuha completed a rotating internship at the University of Santo Tomas Hospital, also in Manila; an Internal Medicine Residency at Lenox Hill Hospital in New York, New York; and an Endocrinology, Diabetes and Metabolism Fellowship at State University of New York at Stony Brook. Prior to relocating to Maryland, he spent time practicing medicine in New York and Hawaii.

Dr. Macuha is board certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine. He is a member of the American Association of Clinical Endocrinologists; The Endocrine Society; and the American Medical Association. Dr. Macuha is fluent in English, Filipino and Spanish.
