Sit, Walk and Fly Lifts Off at the Centre for the Arts

No one ever said life was easy and with the busy schedules and other pressures families face today we easily forget the benefits of stopping to take a deep breath. Sit, Walk and Fly is a creative and fun method of teaching children to relax, focus and enjoy a sense of well being.  Tai Chi Chuan and Usui Reiki master and teacher, Dell St. Ana has designed this class for children, guiding them in the exploration of different types of meditation and meditative movement.  T’ai Chi walk and guided and breathing exercises will be part of the day’s activities. Young children reap long term benefits from learning relaxation techniques and they have fun in the process too.  Students should wear play clothes and bring a snack. The class will be held from 1 pm to 4 pm on Saturday, September 25th.  The deadline for registration is September 17.

St. Ana has practiced Tai Chi Chuan for over 20 years and has been teaching since 1995. Fees are $35 for Arts Council Members, $45 for non-members.  The class will be held at the Centre for the Arts, 206 S. Commerce St., Centreville, MD.
