Sound Foundations for Learning (SFL) and the National Autism Association of Maryland-Eastern Shore (NAAMDES) have moved to two separate locations. Previously, both organizations were housed at the Learning & Development Resource Center located at 8614 Ocean Gateway in Easton, MD.
Separate opportunities were recently presented to each organization, which better allowed both meet the needs of their respective missions.
SFL has relocated a few doors down to 8448 Ocean Gateway, Suite 3 in Easton behind the Subway Restaurant. The new number is 410.690.4557. The NAAMDES also remains in Easton; however, has moved to 8626 Brooks Drive, Suite 203 and may be reached by calling 410.820.9005.
SFL has experienced rapid growth in meeting the needs of area children and students that need progressive education and therapy. They provide a special approach to build a solid foundation for skills to develop lifelong learners who embody self-confidence and the proper tools necessary to achieve lifelong learning.
Due to the demand to provide even more autistic-related services to children and families on the eastern shore, NAAMDES continues to provide therapy, resources, support groups and financial assistance for autism related needs. In addition to partnering with a developmental pediatrician, NAAMDES has recently aligned with autism expert Karen Lombardi, MS Ed. of Early Connections and Vicki Rahencamp a behavioral therapist.
