An informational workshop about the proposed sewer installation on Southern Kent Island will be held from 7 p.m. to 10 p.m. Thursday, December 19 at Kent Island High School. This will be an “open house” style meeting where residents can come at any time to review specific information, maps of their property and ask questions about this proposal.

The Queen Anne’s County Commissioners are considering an extension of the public sewer line to nine communities on Southern Kent Island. An opinion survey and letter detailing this meeting and the current plans for the sewer extension was mailed to all property owners in the nine areas under consideration for sewer service.
