Special Dance to Benefit YMCA of the Chesapeake

Dance the night away at USA Dance Easton on December 7 to benefit the YMCA of the Chesapeake. The Y provides us with a beautiful, large, wooden dance floor, and tables and chairs. Mary Drake remarked, “The Y provides a great facility for us and we hope to show our appreciation.” A portion of each admission plus special donations will be given to the Y at the January 4 dance.

Couples, singles – dancers of all levels are welcome to join in the fun beginning at 7:15 p.m. with a lesson in Rumba taught by Valentine Hodgman. The lesson will be followed at 8 pm by Ballroom, Latin, Swing, Country Western, Hustle and other requested dances – music will be provided by DJ Aggie Beletsky.

Dress is dressy casual – wear festive, holiday attire. The venue is smoke and alcohol free. Ladies, please no street shoes with spike heels.

Dancing takes place at the YMCA of the Chesapeake at 202 Peachblossom Road, Easton. Tickets are sold at the door. General Admission is $12.00. Admission for USA Dance Members, YMCA members with a current membership card, and persons under 21 with a valid ID, is $10.00.
