Troopers from the Easton Barrack responded to westbound US RT 50 and Skipton Creek Road for a disabled vehicle. Upon arriving the Troopers learned that the vehicle had stopped because the passenger, Ester Garcia-Morales of Marydel, was in labor. Garcia-Morales gave birth to a baby boy, who weighed in at 6 pounds 9 ounces and was 19 inches long. Karen and Richard McCamant and another unknown stopped and assisted Ester Garcia-Morales until the arrival of the State Police and EMS service. Captain Timms and Paramedic Smith of Talbot County EMS responded to the scene and provided medical attention and transported to Ms. Garcia-Morales to Easton Memorial Hospital.
