Students Learn How to Turn Precious Metal Clay Into Silver Jewelry

Have you always wanted to make your own jewelry? Here’s you chance. On Saturday, Jan. 30 from 9-1pm, Island Arts in Stevensville is offering a simple workshop that teaches you how to create your very own fine silver charms out of precious metal clay. This beginner class, taught by PMC-certified artisan Melissa Kay-Steves of CharmTree still has a few slots available for anyone ages 12 years old and older.

Not sure you’re ready? Come watch a live demonstration, shop for jewelry, browse designs, or just enjoy a complimentary dessert. One lucky person will win a silver charm.

Workshop Fee: $75 (includes up to 4 charms + jump ring findings) All students should bring a brown bag lunch. Pre-registration by 1/16 required.
