PRINCESS CAMP, AGES 4-7
Put on your favorite princess attire and join us for music, story time and imaginative play. This camp includes snack time, so be sure to bring a healthy snack from home. Cost: $65 per session.

ECO ADVENTURES CAMP, AGES 5-8
Let’s have fun in the great outdoors as we make discoveries about the wildlife that lurks in our own backyards! Each day will include activities, games and a craft. Please bring a snack and drink each day. Dress to be outside. Cost: $65.

POTTERY CAMP, AGES 6 +
Is your child ready to experience what it’s like to paint on pottery? Camps are for all ability levels, from beginner to those looking for a more advanced artistic challenge. Campers will work with special techniques and glazes while creating their own designs! Summer afternoons will fly by when you are having fun at Pick N’ Paint Pottery! Please bring a snack and drink each day. Cost: $75 per session. Camps run from 1:30 – 4:30 p.m.

RED CROSS SWIMMING LESSONS, ALL AGES
The Queen Anne’s County Recreation Department is offering swimming lessons through the Red Cross Learn to Swim program at pools throughout the county. All sessions run for two weeks and meet Monday through Thursday with Friday serving as the make up day for classes that are cancelled due to inclement weather. SUMMER TENNIS LESSONS
Beginners will learn sound fundamentals and the skills of basic strokes including the serve, forehand, backhand and volley. Students will also be introduced to singles and doubles play, scoring, and rules. The lessons include nine hours of certified professional instruction, drills, and play. Instructor Brent Herrick received teacher training and certification from the Van Der Meer Tennis University in 1979 and is a Certified Professional with the Professional Tennis Registry.

FIELD HOCKEY LEAGUE, GRADES 1- 8
The following youth field hockey leagues will start in August. No experience necessary.  Girls Youth Leagues include: Pee Wee entering grades 1-2, Juniors entering grades 3 – 5, and Seniors entering grades 6 – 8.  Required equipment: mouth guard, shin guards and hockey sticks. For Junior girls, sticks may be provided if necessary. Practices start in August at area fields and games begin in September. Registration deadline: June 30. Registrations received after this date will be charged a $15 late fee.

SHOOTER / SCORER BASKETBALL CAMP
Camp Director Paul Hoover is considered one of the premiere shooting coaches in the United States. This camp is based on developing a player’s mental and physical basketball skills. We offer each player first–rate instruction through quality coaching. Our advanced drills are designed through competition and a full understanding of the body’s movement.  Coach Hoover, founder and director of PRO SHOT, has guided hundreds of collegiate and professional players.

Concepts of team play will be introduced.  Camp will end each day with fun mini–games that will challenge campers with the skills learned that day. Space is limited.

TetraBrazil Soccer Academy Advanced High School Clinic

High School Volleyball Camp
This camp is for experienced athletes who are enthusiastic about improving all their skills. This is a great camp for athletes who want excellent conditioning going into their regular seasons.
Campers will be divided according to skill level, which allows the entire group to progress at the fastest pace possible. Campers will be pushed with progressively difficult drills and game like situations. Skills such as setting, hitting, serving, passing and defense will be covered. This camp is NOT for beginners. It is designed to get players in top shape for the Fall 2011 volleyball season.
