Designer Bag Bingo To Benefit Local School

On Sunday, November 21, the Easton Middle Theatre Boosters will host a designer bingo featuring Spartina 449, Vera Bradley, and Coach Bags at the Easton Volunteer Fire Department on Creamery Lane in Easton. Doors will open at 1:00 p.m. and the games will begin at 2:00 p.m. Proceeds from this event will support Easton Middle Theatre Department and the Easton High School Drama Club winter musical, Bye Bye Birdie. The BlissMobile will be on site offering jewelry and accessories for holiday shopping!

Under the direction of Richard Vitanovec, the Tony-Award winning musical, Bye Bye Birdie, will enchant the audience with the engaging story of Conrad Birdie’s last kiss before shipping off to the military. The lucky teenager to receive his last kiss, Kim, is the envy of her town, Sweet Apple! The story was inspired by the phenomenon of popular singer Elvis Presley and hisdraft notice into the Army. The musical will open at the Easton High School auditorium on Friday, January 21. Additional dates include January 22, 23, 28, and 29, 2011.
