Talbot Bank Donates To CASA

Talbot Bank, member of Shore Bancshares family of companies, made a donation to CASA of Talbot and Dorchester Counties. The $2,000 donation supported CASA’s annual fundraising event held recently. The theme of this year’s event was an authentic Ohana Hawaiian Luau at the Hemmersley Farm at Emerson Point on the Miles River. Volunteers acting as Court Appointed Special Advocates (CASA) are everyday citizens appointed by judges to advocate for the safety and well-being of children who are under court protection as a result of abuse or neglect.
