The Chesapeake Republican Women Hosting Membership Drive Kickoff Party

The Chesapeake Republican Women (CRW) will be hosting a membership drive kickoff party on Thursday, November 19th.  “I am very excited to kickoff the election year and meet new Republicans who live in the area” enthused Deanna Couch, Chairman of the event. Both men and women are invited to attend the 7:00 PM event at the Bayside Club House in Chester Maryland.

The CRW is a local chapter of the Maryland Federation of Republican Women (MFRW) who just held their biennial convention in Cambridge over the weekend. Outgoing President of the CRW, Diana Waterman was elected First Vice President of the MFRW   at that event. “The CRW is happy to have new members at whatever level of participation we can get them—whether that’s just to stay in the loop with emails  and the occasional meeting or very motivated Republicans who want to participate as often as they can, we are happy to have you!” said Waterman.

Among other accomplishments, members of the local chapter have testified in the state Senate and House of Delegates on issues such as Jessica’s law which called for tougher sanctions on pedophiles and took an active role in fighting against the tax increases imposed during the 2007 Special Session in Annapolis.

“It is more important than ever that we pull together as team to elect Republicans next November. This event is a fabulous way to start that team building!” finished Couch.

The public is invited to attend. For more information please call Diana Waterman at 410-490-0227 or Deanna Couch at 410-708-9207.
