Basic Crochet: Make A Hat & Scarf

image003The art of crochet involves creating a series of hoops that are woven together using a simple hook. The result is texture rich creations of many kinds, clothing, household items and even stuffed animals. It is a fun, relaxing and productive hobby that can add great items to any accessory wardrobe. Whether you want to create for friends, for yourself, or for profit, basic crocheting techniques are the foundation for simple and complicated design work. “Basic Crochet: Hat and Scarf” teaches students stitches and techniques resulting in a hand-crafted cozy scarf. With a few more techniques, students gain enough skills to create a warm and wearable hat. Scarf and hat can be customized in the colors and patterns chosen by each student.
