University of Maryland Memorial Hospital Foundation recently recognized Bruce Golt, a member of the Environmental Services team at University of Maryland Shore Medical Center at Easton, as an Everyday Hero. Golt was nominated by a family member of a previous patient for his willingness to assist in loading her car with the patient’s belongings, in preparation for the patient’s transfer to University of Maryland Shore Medical Center at Dorchester. Golt’s assistance was even more appreciated by the family as it was offered in the midst of a driving rain storm.

The University of Maryland Memorial Hospital Foundation recently recognized Terri Fisher, respiratory care practitioner in the Pulmonary Function Lab at University of Maryland Shore Medical Center at Easton, as an Everyday Hero.  Fisher was nominated by a former patient for her professionalism and patience during the pulmonary function testing experience.
