VFW Donates to Hospice of Queen Anne’s

vfw (400 x 357)VFW Commander Clifton Coursey of Post 7464 presents a check to Kenda Leager, center, and Heather Guerieri of Hospice of Queen Anne’s at a staff event held recently at the Post in Grasonville.  Throughout the year, VFW Post 7464 supports Hospice of Queen Anne’s through cash and in-kind donations.

VFW Donation to Grasonville Senior Center

Grasonville VFW Post #7464 recently made a donation of $500 to Grasonville Senior Center on Friday January 15, 2010. In addition, over 80 Queen Anne’s County senior citizens were treated to a delicious Luncheon at the VFW.  The luncheon consisted of fried chicken, baked ham, sweet potatoes, green beans, cranberry sauce, rolls, and assorted pies for dessert.  Volunteers who helped prepare and serve the meal include Roseayn and Dan Reid, Nancy and Butch Sweeny, Dot Molnar, Irene Bryan, Trish Speakman, Peg Sala, Betty Clevenger, Cindy Dill, Cye Evans, Carol Kitts, Charly Neill-roe, and Commander Bill Atwell.  A good time was had by all.
