Kindermusik is a music filled class that celebrates the unique joys of your growing child. Children will sing, dance and play instruments with you and new friends. All will practice a wide variety of skill sets including motor, taking turns, socialization, and active listening. During class there will be tips and ideas for keeping music in the home throughout the week.
Materials: $10.55, includes music from class, activities and each month’s story. To be paid to the instructor on the 1st day of class. Register by 9/12. Ages 2-3.
Instructor Rebecca Bryson began piano lessons at age 3 beginning her life-long love of music and teaching. She has been in the Royal School of Church Music Choir working up to Head Chorister. She began her work as a Kindermusik instructor by helping her mother while in high school and later college. A mother of 3 boys their journey into music exploration brought her back to teaching music which she loves.
Classes are held on Wednesdays, beginning September 19 and through October 10 from 9:30 to 10:15 a.m. The cost is $75 for members of the Arts Council, and $90 for non-members.
Centre for the Arts classes are designed to renew existing artistic interests and develop new skills. Office hours at 206 South Commerce Street are Tuesday through Friday from 9 am to 5 pm and Saturday from 10 am to 2 pm.
