OrthoTODAY to Provide Same Day Visits for Orthopaedic Injury

OrthoTODAY, a service The Orthopaedic and Sports Medicine Center at Anne Arundel Medical Center, is now offering same-day visits for all patients experiencing non-life-threatening, acute orthopaedic injuries. This new program offers extended hours of operation and timely access to orthopaedic specialists—six days a week for people of all ages.

OrthoTODAY is staffed by a team of qualified and experienced orthopaedic surgeons, nurse practitioners and physician’s assistants with support from radiologists, orthopaedic technicians and bracing specialists. Conditions OrthoTODAY may treat include:

Sprains and strains
Fractures and dislocations
Sports injuries
Muscle pain
Pediatric injuries
Foot and ankle injuries
Knee and hip injuries
Hand, finger, wrist and elbow
Shoulder and rib injuries

The Orthopaedic And Sports Medicine Center, LLC (OSMC) has 17 board certified orthopaedic surgeons, with advanced training in their respective subspecialties, which include foot and ankle, knee and hip, hand and upper extremity,spine, total joint reconstruction, arthroscopic and microvascular surgeries, sports medicine, pediatric disorders, bone and joint disease, arthritis, fractures and emergency trauma.
