Shore Attitude Softball Holds Tryouts for 10U, 12U & 14U Travel Teams Aug 16

Shore Attitude softball will hold tryouts for its 10U, 12U and 14U travel teams on Saturday, Aug. 16 (12 noon), Sunday, Aug. 17 (1 p.m.) and Sunday, Aug. 24 (1 p.m.) at Rte. 18 Park in Centreville, MD. Players from all areas are welcome and should bring any equipment and hydration necessary to participate fully in the tryout. Pitchers should bring a catcher, if possible. Players are encouraged to attend all three days of tryouts. Please note that current players must attend tryouts.

Established in 2010, Shore Attitude travel teams are comprised of the finest and most-talented young ladies from throughout Queen Anne’s, Caroline, Kent and Talbot counties. It’s a true representation of our “Shore Attitude!” Shore Attitude is a non-profit, volunteer-run organization, affiliated with QA Softball and the Amateur Softball Association (ASA), which is the national governing body for softball in the United States.

Shore Attitude Softball Tryouts for 2014 Season Being Held August 25

Shore Attitude logo smaller no line (186 x 156)Shore Attitude softball will hold tryouts for its 10U and 12U 2014 travel teams on Sunday, August 25, at 12:30 p.m. at Whitemarsh Park. The fields are located just north of in-town Centreville, Md. on MD 213. Players should bring any equipment necessary to participate fully in the tryout.

Established in 2010, Shore Attitude travel teams are comprised of the finest and most-talented young ladies from throughout Queen Anne’s, Caroline, Kent and Talbot counties. It’s a true representation of our “Shore Attitude!” Shore Attitude is a non-profit, volunteer-run organization, affiliated with QA Softball and the Amateur Softball Association (ASA), which is the national governing body for softball in the United States. Players from all areas are highly encouraged to attend. Please note that current players must attend tryouts.

Congratulations to 16-18U Shore Attitude

DSCN3297 (400 x 300)The 16-18U Shore Attitude softball travel team were Runners-Up at the 2013 Summer Sizzler held in Bengies Chase this last weekend (Aug. 3-4). Once again, they went undefeated during Saturday pool play and won their semi-final game on Sunday to make it to the afternoon’s Championship game before falling to the Roxborough Impact from Pennsylvania. Congratulations on a winning season!

Shore Attitude Wins Championship

shore attitude 10u QAC tournament champs (400 x 268)The 10U Shore Attitude travel softball team came in First Place at the First Annual QAC Recreational Tournament held at Rte. 18 Park this past weekend (7/20-21). The team went 5-0, went into Sunday’s bracket play seeded #1 and outscored their opponents 50 – 6 enroute to the Championship. They battled teams from as far away as Wilmington, De., and Howard County, Md.

Shore Attitude Softball Runners-Up at Bengies Chase Invitational Tournament

Shore Attitude 215 (400 x 300)Last weekend (6/29 – 30), the 16/18U and 10U Shore Attitude softball travel teams participated in the 2013 Bengies Chase Invitational Tournament in Baltimore County. The 16/18U team was Runners Up in their age bracket (they lost the Championship game 9 – 8 in a hard-fought battle with the Northern Nitros) and the 10U team came in third place in their age group! This is only the 10U team’s second tournament ever!

Athlete of the Week: Shore Attitude

Our Eastern Shore-based Shore Attitude softball travel team participated in the University of Maryland’s Lady Terps Softball team’s Youth Day on Sunday, March 24. Members of Shore Attitude were able to go on the field prior to game time, participate in the pre-game cheer with the Terps players and obtain autographs and talk with the players post-game. It was a great way to kick off the 2013 season!

The Shore Attitude Softball Travel Teams will be hosting tryouts for the 2013 Season on Sept. 9th at 2 p.m. at Rte. 18 in Centreville. Tryouts will be held for the 10U, 12U, 14U and 16U teams.

Local 14U Shore Attitude Softball Travel Team is Headed to Nationals!

In only its second tournament of the 2011 season, the 14U Shore Attitude Softball Travel Team earned a spot in the 2011 Amateur Softball Association’s (ASA) Eastern Nationals tournament following a second-place finish in the Centreville Invitational, held May 7, at Route 18 Park in Centreville, MD.

Established in 2010, “Shore Attitude” is the newest softball travel team on the Eastern Shore.  Its 16U, 14U, 12U and 10U travel teams are comprised of young ladies from throughout Queen Anne’s, Caroline, Kent and Talbot counties.  Shore Attitude is affiliated with Maryland/DC ASA.  ASA is the national governing body of softball.

The 14U ASA Eastern Nationals tournament is a five-day event that will take place August 2 – 7 in Charles County, MD.  Business sponsorships and individual donations to assist in the team with travel, hotel and meal expenses are generously accepted.  If you would like to help the team, please send your donation to Shore Attitude, P.O.
