The Kent Island Garden Club is looking for ladies interested in joining our club.  We are a “fun” group which  enjoys flower arranging, involvement in maintenance of gardens at historic  and other sites in Stevensville, youth gardening and horticulture, just to name a few of  our activities.

We meet once a month on the second Friday of the month at 9:30 a.m. from September through June.  Our meetings are often held at the Kent Island United Methodist Church, or another local venue at 9:30 a.m.  Each meeting  will feature  a speaker  who  will share their expertise  on a  given  gardening subject.

There  will be field trips, fundraising  events, an annual picnic and in December,  there will be a trip to  Longwood Gardens in PA  which will be open to the public.

If  you are interested, we invite you to come to one of our meetings.  The September  meeting will be on the 12th at 9:30  a.m. at K. I. U. M. C.  Our speaker  Master Gardener, Susan Betz, will share with us how landscaping with trees can provide spring beauty.
