Need to get into that summer wardrobe? Try one of our fitness classes! You can party yourself into shape with Zumba – forget the workout and just lose yourself in the music and find yourself in shape at the original dance-fitness party. Zumba classes feature exotic rhythms set to today’s hits and high energy Latin beats. Before you know it you will find yourself getting fit and your energy levels will soar. Mondays at 5:30 PM. $7 per class or $10 classes for $50

For our early risers~ come rise and shine and give Boot Camp a try! Pam Thaxton will put you thru the paces from 5:30-6:30 am Mon/Tues/Wed/Fri. She utilizes muscle confusion to achieve maximum toning and strengthening. It adds variety to your workout and prevents weight loss plateaus. Traditional calisthenics, interval and weight training, yoga, and Pilates exercises are included in this 1 hour workout for all fitness levels. 4 days per week is $75 Arts Council Members ($80 nonmembers) per month and 3 days per week is $85 Arts Council Members ($90 nonmembers).

Zumba Classes

Spring Zumba classes are now forming at Grasonville and Kent Island Senior Centers. Beginners are encouraged to try this exciting one hour exercise class. Participants will learn easy to follow moves to upbeat Latin rhythms combined with resistance training to tone and sculpt the body while burning fat.

Classes will meet each Thursday 9:30am at Grasonville Senior Center and 11:00am at Kent Island Senior Center March 21 – June 27. This Healthy Living for Older Adults course is provided by Chesapeake College Division of Continuing Education and Workforce Training. Registration cost just $15 for the 15 week session.
