The program which is supported by the Maryland Food Bank and Faith Community Church strives to distribute backpacks full of food to children in need every Friday afternoon during the school year. The program fills a critical need, ensuring that children have access to food over the weekend and are able to return to school Monday morning well-nourished and ready to learn.
