St. Michaels Library to Offer Tot Time Story Hour
On Monday mornings, April 4, 11, 25, May 2 & 9, at 10:15 a.m., the St. Michaels branch of the Talbot County Free Library will offer a Tot Time Story Hour for children 5 and under accompanied by an adult. Children’s Book Author to Speak at St. Michaels Library
On Tuesday, April 5, at 1:00 p.m., celebrated children’s book author Henry Cole will speak in the St. Michaels branch of the Talbot County Free Library. Cole has illustrated and authored a number of popular children’s books. His new novel, “A Nest for Celeste,” has been called “a perfect choice for middle readers who enjoy animal tales with a twist.” All library programs are free and open to the public. Butterflies, Bugs, & Bees at the St. Michaels Library
On Tuesday, April 5, at 4:00 p.m., in the St. Michaels branch of the Talbot County Free Library, naturalists from the Pickering Creek Audubon Center will offer a program about insects that fly and help pollinate our flowers. Come learn about the bugs that help produce our food and try to catch some! This program is designed for children 4 and older. Stitch and Chat at the St. Michaels Library
On Thursday, April 7, at 10:00 a.m., patrons are invited to bring their sewing or knitting projects to the St. Michaels library and stitch with a group. Make a Book Workshop at the Library
On Saturday, April 9, from 10:30 a.m. to noon, in the Easton branch of the Talbot County Free Library at 28712 Glebe Road, children 8 and under accompanied by an adult will learn how to create their own book. This program is sponsored by the Judy Center of the Talbot County Public Schools. All library programs are free and open to the public, but children do need to be pre-registered for this program.
