“Stitch in Time” at the Easton Library
On Monday, April 18, from 3:00 – 5:00 p.m., Talbot County Free Library’s Easton branch will once again offer its popular “Stitch in Time” knitting program. Patrons can learn how to knit or crochet, or they can bring any needlework projects already underway and stitch with a group. All library programs are free and open to the public. Love Poetry to Be Discussed at Library
On Monday, April 18, at 6:30 p.m., in celebration of National Poetry Month, “the Library guy” Bill Peak will lead a discussion of three great love poems in the Easton branch of the Talbot County Free Library. The three poems are: Billy Collins’ “Love,” Philip Larkin’s “The Whitsun Weddings,” and Wendell Berry’s “They Sit Together on the Porch.” Patrons can pick up a copy of these poems at the library or read them on-line at the library’s website: www.tcfl.org.
