Talbot Humane will hold a family-friendly Adopt-A-Thon on Saturday, August 21, from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. at its facility on Route 50 in Easton. Adoption specials will be offered.

The day of fun will include face painting, raffles and giveaways. Kids will be able to pet and play with dogs, cats, kittens, rabbits and guinea pigs.

Girl Scout Troup #232 will sponsor a bake sale during the event. Everyone stopping by may enjoy burgers and hot dogs personally barbecued by Talbot Humane Executive Director Brian Metcalf.
“Come on out and have some fun,” invited Metcalf. “You may just find your new best friend!”
