Talbot Partnership Announces Additions to Board of Directors

Talbot Partnership for Alcohol and Other Drug-Abuse Prevention recently announced the addition of five new board members. Christine Clarke of Shore Health System, Rabbi Peter Hyman of Temple B’Nai Israel, Mary Kramer of Easton, Nancy Labat of the YMCA of the Chesapeake, and Rhonda Thompson of Easton, recently joined the Board of Directors. Other board members include Petie Bailey of Easton, the Honorable Sidney S. Campen of Oxford, Jr., Donald Cook of Trappe, Sharon Dundon of Easton, the Reverend Jody Gunn of Cordova, Michelle Hammond of Easton, Carolyn L. Jaffe of Easton, Paula Lowry of the Talbot County Health Department, Gail Phillips of the Talbot County Public Schools, Glen Plutschak, recently retired Drug Court Coordinator; Jim Reed of Oxford, president of the Board of Directors; and Aric Rosenbach of Wittman.

Talbot Partnership, which is celebrating its 20th anniversary year, was founded in 1991 as a community coalition, encourages the community to recognize the problems and implement solutions related to alcohol, tobacco and other drug abuse by implementing policies, promoting early intervention programs and building a community culture that favors drug-free youth. More than 80 individuals, agencies and organizations from all segments of the community are members of the coalition.
