Talbot Partnership is offering a new one hour course, Navigating the Tweens and Teens – Drug Free!, on Wednesday, September 22 from 5 to 6 p.m. at its office on the second floor of the Bank of America Building at 8 Goldsborough Street in Easton. The presentation, targeted at parents of children in grades five through eight, will provide resources and strategies for dealing with a few of the temptations that are likely to confront teens, including alcohol, the Internet, and peer pressure.

According to Gary Pearce, director of Talbot Partnership for Alcohol and Other Drug Abuse Prevention, “This is an excellent introductory course for parents about the substance abuse risks facing teens today and prevention strategies for dealing with these risks.”
