Talbot Special Riders Pit Beef Lunch and Spring Plant Sale, April 27

Talbot Special Riders is holding two fund raisers Friday April 27 at both ends of Easton’s Marlboro Road. There will be a Pit Beef sale, from 11 am to 2 pm, in front of Admiral Cleaners in the Acme parking lot; the Spring Plant sale will be held from 9:30 am to 3pm, at the Amish Market lot.

Advance orders for the Pit Beef Lunch may be placed by emailing an order to specialriders@hotmail.com no later than April 21. Free delivery, within a five mile radius of the Acme lot, will be available for advance orders of five or more sandwiches. The Spring Plant Sale at the Amish Market parking lot will feature perennials, annuals, grasses and house plants including surprises from leading garden centers.

Throughout the past 31 years, Talbot Special Riders has been providing therapeutic horseback riding to persons with special needs. Central to our riders’ personal successes and competition in Special Olympics Equestrian shows are the ongoing contributions of volunteers to all phases of the program, from working with riders during the spring and fall sessions, to raising funds, to community outreach.
