The night before Taste of Cambridge, Friday, July 9, there will be a fun benefit party at the Main Street Gallery. Gallery volunteers are putting together a July show, “Chair/ity,” in which talented artists take old chairs and transform them into fabulously imaginative artworks. The party, 6-9pm, July 9, will benefit nonprofit arts organizations in partnership with the Dorchester Center for the Arts, the Main Street Gallery, and New Beginnings. Lots of entertainment and refreshments are planned.
