The Queen Anne’s Chorale

The Queen Anne’s Chorale, under the artistic direction of Bob Huntington, has been rehearsing for its spring concerts since January.  There will be 2 performances in April:

Saturday: April 24th at Christ Episcopal Church, 830 Romancoke Road,  Kent Island at
7:30, p.m.

Sunday: April 25th at Centreville United Methodist Church at  4:00 p.m.

The concerts, entitled “Good Grief: Music of Mourning, Comfort, and Hope” will feature the beautiful Rutter Requiem performed with chamber orchestra. The repertoire will also feature powerful and uplifting selections by  Brahms and Copland  that offer assurance and comfort to the audience.  Both performances have been dedicated to all Veterans, Active Duty, and Reservists who have served their country in time of conflict.  Special attention will be given to those who have lost their lives in this service, more recently in Iraq and Afghanistan.
