The Talbot Bank, a member of the Shore Bancshares community of companies, in participation with East Coast Shredding, sponsored their second Shred Day on Saturday, June 20th. Locations for this event were set up at both the Easton Tred Avon and Cambridge Sunburst branches. The first Shred Day was held in April at the Easton Elliott Road and Cambridge Sunburst branches. The Talbot Bank employees helped members of all the communities safely dispose of old documents in an ongoing effort to help fight identity theft. On each Shred Day, participants could enter to win a free home paper shredder of which Dale Potter was the lucky winner on June 20th. The public was also encouraged to donate canned food items to benefit local area food pantries.

The next Shred Day is scheduled for Saturday, October 24, 2015 at the Talbot Bank Tilghman branch from 9 am – 11 am and the Easton Tred Avon branch from 11:30 am – 1:30 pm. The events are free and open to the public.
