Tickets Available for Adkins Arboretum’s Magic in the Meadow Gala Sat., Sept. 29

Adkins Arboretum promises an enchanted evening Sat., Sept. 29 when it hosts the fifth annual Magic in the Meadow, a dazzling event to benefit the Arboretum’s education and conservation programs. As twilight falls, guests will mingle in the meadow surrounded by the Arboretum’s 400 acres of majestic native gardens, wetlands, forests and streams.

The evening will feature spectacular local fare prepared by PeachBlossoms; wine and cocktails; and music by Chestertown band B Natural, featuring Pres Harding on guitar and a special appearance by the incomparable Joe Holt on piano.

Live Auction items include exclusive travel packages to six exciting locations, including Paris and South Africa. The Silent Auction features a wide variety of art, jewelry, wine and experiences such as dog training sessions, pottery and private wine tastings.

Recognizing the Arboretum’s important conservation mission, fourteen corporate sponsors have lent their support to this year’s Magic in the Meadow, including lead sponsor CNB and media sponsors Spy Publications, Tidewater Times and Tidewater Trader.

Adkins Arboretum is a 400-acre native garden and preserve at the headwaters of the Tuckahoe Creek in Caroline County.
