Tea, discovered in China and in use in the Eastern world for over 4500 years, is the world’s most popular drink. As an opportunity for artists to think outside the (tea) box, the Artworks Gallery in Chestertown will display art inspiration from tea leaves, teapots, teacups, teabags, a tea cozy, tea tray, or even the mad hatter’s tea party. At the Opening Reception, viewers will be asked to vote for their favorite work, to be recognized by a People’s Choice Award at the end of the evening.
