Town-wide Day of Bargains and More

Downtown Centreville will bustle with activity on Saturday, June 18 from 9 am to 1 pm when the “Art of the Deals” returns for the seventh year. Visit the courthouse square to meet interesting artists, and learn about civic groups from around the region. Artists will have a variety of items for sale from beautifully handcrafted jewelry, mosaics, carvings, hand painted furniture and even poets and authors will have books to sign and on sell.

Information on the square will be provided by Corsica River Conservancy, League of Women Voters, Museum of Eastern Shore Life, Queen Anne’s Amateur Radio Club and The Queen Anne’s County Animal Shelter. Nonprofit groups around town will also participate. The Queen Anne’s County Free Library and The Queen Anne’s County Historical Society will offer special activities throughout the day.

Shoppers looking for discounts and specials by area merchants can stop in at Ashley Premier Properties, Babies in Bloom & Blooming Deals, Centreville Liquors, Cottage Cuts, Edwards Pharmacy, Heartworks Archival and Custom Framing, Salon Heberto, Simply Posh, Sugar Magnolia Café & Gifts and Western Auto for clearance sales, discounts on spa treatments and more. A map listing the participating downtown shops is available at the Art Council’s table on the square. The courthouse will also have local fresh produce, flowers, and plants at the Farmer’s Market.
