Troika Gallery in downtown Easton has been voted Best Art Gallery by What’s Up? Eastern Shore magazine. This is the second year the gallery has received this recognition. Voting took place in January and February of this year. What’s Up? readers cast more than 5,000 ballots overall, covering 100-plus categories.

See for yourself why this gallery is “the best.” Specializing in original, classically based fine art, this sophisticated gallery offers a multitude of diverse styles and media—from traditional to modern, contemporary to classical realism, watercolor impressionism to Trompel’œil. Troika Gallery’s varied subjects, include landscapes, marine, wildlife, still life, figures, florals, fantasy, portraits, sculpture, and porcelain.

On Friday, July 11 from 5-8pm, during Easton’s July Gallery Walk, Troika Gallery will open “The Painterly Sublime: 2 Points of View,” an exhibit featuring master artists Raoul Middleman and Kevin Fitzgerald. Don’t miss the rare chance to see these two remarkable artists together in person during a special Artist Talk at 7pm.

Troika Gallery will host several events during the Plein Air–Easton! Competition & Arts Festival, the premier outdoor painting event in the United States.  On Saturday, July 19 from 1:30 to 3:30pm, Raoul Middleman will conduct a portrait demonstration. Middleman is a charismatic presenter with exhaustive knowledge of his craft; his demos always attract a crowd. On Sunday, July 20, Troika Gallery will be among the galleries open for the Plein Air–Easton! Mimosa Gallery Walk. Troika Gallery will have extended Sunday hours from 11am to 4pm on July 13 and July 20 during the festival. Be among the thousands of visitors who participate in this popular event.

Troika Gallery is the longest operating gallery on the Eastern Shore. Over the past 17 years, the gallery has developed a strong following of collectors and art enthusiasts. Gallery co-owner Jennifer Heyd Wharton is relocating to Beaufort, South Carolina to be closer to her family. Because of the move, Troika Gallery has been placed on the market for sale and will be under new management in the future. Visit the gallery soon while the original owners are still there.
