Twice Is Nice Offers Three Times the Value

By Avra Sullivan

When her favorite consignment store moved from the Kent island area to Easton, Kim Azar did what any bargain seeking woman would do. She opened her own.

A long time consigner, she and her mother Mary, had always wanted to open their own shop. That became a reality 6 years ago when they launched Twice Is Nice consignments in Stevensville. Having a business and bookkeeping background, a love of consigning and an outgoing personality, Kim has created a place to earn extra cash for your things, and find great name brand items at a fraction of their retail cost. “We focus on three main things,” says Kim, “A clean store, quality merchandise and great customer service.” In addition, the store gives them an opportunity to give back. Any clothes that are not sold are donated to local charities, and Kim says nearly all of the consigners agree to and love the chance to donate. Extra cash, discounted name brands and a way to give back? That’s a good deal!

Twice is Nice is also a family run affair. While Kim and Mary primarily run the shop, Kim’s 3 daughters frequently help out, as well as her husband and father, and several volunteers. “Getting to know the people has produced several friendships throughout the years,” says Kim.

Twice as Nice offers everything from women’s, men’s, children’s, and junior clothing, to household items, jewelry and even furniture, all at discounted prices. Twice Is Nice is located at 440 Main Street in Stevensville. More information about their store and consigning with them can be found by calling 410-604-1204 or find them on Facebook.
