University of Maryland Shore Regional Health’s “Ask the Expert” series continues with a program in Kent County on Thursday, April 17.

Dr. Khalid Kurtom of Chesapeake Neurological Surgery, an affiliate of University of Maryland Shore Medical Group, will discuss “Minimally Invasive Spine Surgery” at 7 p.m. on April 17 in the conference center at UM Shore Medical Center at Chestertown, 100 Brown St.

The “Ask the Expert” spring 2014 series is being offered through May 21 at various locations in Caroline, Dorchester, Kent, Queen Anne’s and Talbot counties. These free programs offer residents an opportunity to meet and ask questions of physicians and other expert clinicians who provide services in our region.
