United Way President, Carllene Hurd accepts check in the amount of $1275 from Karyn Dustin, PNC Kent Island Branch Manager as United Way VP, Paula Warner looks on. PNC Bank raised money during December which they dubbed their “Month of Caring”. For every new account opened during that month, $25 was donated to the local United Way. Ms. Dustin stated that “December was a very good month for us and we are thrilled to be able to present this donation to the United Way of Queen Anne’s County.”
The United Way of Queen Anne’s County allocates funds to 24 local agencies that serve community needs from children to seniors covering areas from health and human services, to the arts and the environment.
