University of Maryland Shore Regional Health Welcomes New CFO

University of Maryland Shore Regional Health recently welcomed JoAnne Hahey, CPA, as the organization’s Chief Financial Officer.

Hahey obtained a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from West Virginia University, where she graduated with Magna cum Laude honors.  Prior to joining UM Shore Regional Health, she spent the past 23 years of her career at Jefferson Regional Medical Center in Pittsburgh, PA, having held multiple positions in healthcare finance and operations including Manager of Reimbursement, Director of Budgets and Reimbursement and Controller.  The last seven years of her tenure there were spent as Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of the medical center.

To UM Shore Regional Health, Hahey brings expertise in managing patient and administrative services and directing the financial operations of a complex, multi-provider regional medical center comprised of acute care, ambulatory care and post-acute care activities, physician practices, foundation and for-profit entities.
